YES!  The eVid may be used to capture motion and still images on your computer.

You'll need a video capture board and you'll be all set.

If your computer has a "Video Capture Card" that can accept composite video input from a RCA style jack (most all can), then you are all set.

Otherwise, we have the "EZ Capture card" available for Windows XP+ systems. The card comes with driver files which allow you to capture motion and still pictures.  We also have a USB 2.0 Adapter into which the eVid can be plugged, and then the adapter into your computer.  Both support up to 720x480 resolution.

The Gooseneck option allows versatility by providing a heavy, stable base, flexible neck, and holder for your eVid Camera. With it, the camera can be mounted for use without a microscope, allowing regular use as a video camera, permitting the camera display of small objects on a television screen and more.  The camera is held to stand with thumbscrews, and is removable for use with your microscope.
